Nancy Oakes and Darrell Stone announced that Kate Christopher and Tara JebensSingh completed their Passport orientation. Good job and welcome Kate and Tara.

 

After wrestling President Mike to the floor and commandeering the microphone from him, Patty Hall introduced Doug Niemela of H2O For and Jeff Harnly of the Red Wing Rotary Club and member of the District 5960 Grants Committee. On behalf of the District, Jeff presented a check in the amount of $6,140 as matching funds for the H2O For Life Project at the Nasaruni School in Kenya. Patty explained that with funds from our club and other contributions the total available for the project is approximately $16,000.

 

President-Elect Bob Timmons AND Taste of WBL chair extraordinaire said that despite public health and business challenges the Tenth Annual Taste of White Bear Lake went very well. He extended his sincere thanks to all members who helped to make the event a success and called out several for their extra efforts including John Jacobson (Pine Tree Orchard), Ken Galloway (Food), Eric Hendrickson (Adult Beverages), Pat McFarlane (Tickets), Darrell Stone (Sponsors), Jennifer Breon (Graphics Design), Dale Grambush (Multi Media), Bill Rust and Ken Baltzer (set-up and equipment). Revenue met the estimates and after all bills are paid the final report on net revenue will be announced. Thanks for your leadership Bob!
