Rotary Foundation
Rotary Foundation of Rotary International
The mission of the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.
The foundation supports international and club projects through donations made by Rotary Members and donations made by others outside of Rotary. Club members are encouraged to give $100 annually however, any contribution can be made. When an individual has made a total contribution of $1000 they become eligible for a “Paul Harris Fellow” recognition. The “Paul Harris Fellow” recognition was created in memory of Paul Harris, the founder of Rotary as a way to show appreciation for contributions to the Foundation's charitable and educational program. Every “Paul Harris Fellow” receives a pin and a certificate when he or she becomes a Fellow. This identifies the recipient as an advocate of the Foundation's goals of world peace and international understanding.
Please contact White Bear Lake Foundation Chair Curt Akenson through our Rotary website or mailing address if you are interested in donating.
