BEAR’ly Open Feb 4—6 Ken Galloway thanked club members for the good response to sponsorships and auction items for the revised BEAR’ly Open. Things are moving along well, but there is still much to do to make it a successful event. We can still use additional donors to the auction and more hole sponsors. We have been getting golfers to register, but this will be a key component to success. Please consider putting together a foursome, creating a costume, and registering soon. We will be soliciting for online auction registrations soon in January, so watch for that and please sign up. We’ve been getting some great donations.Volunteers will be needed on Thursday thru Saturday the week of the event (Feb. 4 –6). Please consider taking a slot or two when the signup sheet goes out. The work load will be much less this year than previous years
Volunteer Signup sheet is;
LRCs is a conversational model developed by dialogue experts to facilitate connection between people despite their differences, and even identify areas of common ground and shared understanding. These are wonderful opportunities to connect with fellow Rotarians, and beyond that, engage in some conversations that help inform our work as leaders in the community. The series begins with some important topics that are less publicly controversial, and progresses into topics that more commonly appear in news headlines. Rotarians are invited to register for as many or as few conversations as they like.
Questions about LRCs, registration, and participation may be directed to Stephen Kelly at kell0587@umn.edu. Here is more information, too, about dates and topics:
